Bunky Green (1933–2025) was an American jazz alto saxophonist, composer, and influential educator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He briefly played with Charles Mingus in the early 1960s before moving to Chicago, where he worked with musicians including Sonny Stitt, Yusef Lateef, and Andrew Hill. Known for his distinctive, adventurous improvisational style, Green later devoted much of his career to teaching, notably at Chicago State University and the University of North Florida.
