Original stated "First Edition" copy with proper "T39" code on page 823. Original price of $12.95 intact on front flap. Basis for at least two television adaptations and one of the early seminal works from the greatest storyteller alive. Title and author in gilt on spine remain clean and intact. A few light scratches to bottom gutter. DJ exhibits a few short tears and some minor loss at edges. While the copy is not perfect, it contains all the issue points and is better than most we have seen over the years.
