Includes a complete listing of the most recent books added to the "Negro Collection" at Fisk. This issue dedicated to the work and life of Jean Toomer and his Harlem Renaissance classic "Cane" (he disliked the classification of Harlem Renaissance though). Although Fisk University in Nashville is still a somewhat vibrant campus, the University and Library in 1972 was a shining light in education in America. The Library in particular was preserving in areas ignored by most. This copy of their own in house periodical from the archive at Fisk. Copies of the "BANC" issues are quite scarce. OCLC locates only "2" of this issue, none in the United States.
Bound in original stiff wraps. Light wear at corners.
