Original 1948 US Army & Air Force recruitment booklet for women. Includes the important two-page listing of "Jobs to be done by Army and Air Force Women" as well as the military fashion expectations. While the list of military occupations for women is lengthy, all of the jobs are either clerical or behind the scenes work such as dental technicians, artists, interpreters, bakers, chemists, etc... This was a huge step forward for women in the U.S. Military, but smacks of sexism throughout. "San Francisco Recruiting Main station" stamped on rear cover. Light creasing, but a clean copy overall.
