First edition in the original "Weekly Reader Book Club" illustrated cloth binding. No DJ, as issued. While the story of Stat Ka'at involves a couple of kids taken off to a planet of intelligent and highly empathetic cats, the title artwork is what interests me... The title lettering on "Star Ka'at" is eerily close to Joe Johnston's third "Star Wars" variation that remains prevalent today. The Johnston "Star Wars" logo of 1977 (a year after this Norton title was released), features the elongated "S" and "R" that we see in this title. While nothing seems to have been made of this, "Star Ka'at" is on the list for Star Wars fanatics.

Light rubbing to edges and spine. A very attractive copy overall.
