The festivals featured stars both white and black and showcased the power of modern jazz in America. Cecil, an exececutive the with the Atlanta Braves and President of Atlanta Stadium Productions, Inc., recognized the potential of a KOOL Jazz Festival in Atlanta... and the rest is history. The festival maintains a vibrant yearly presence in Atlanta to this day!
