Scarce original 1948 catalog to the films available to rent from Southern Visual Films of Memphis, TN. Southern Visual Films provided all of the facilities needed to show movies in theaters, schools, churches and clubs. Their offerings included films as well as the projectors needed to show them. Catalogs such as this one were used by existing theaters looking for additional films for their box office as well as industrial clients like schools. 80 pages of film listings that include everything from Laurel & Hardy to One Million BC. Also includes sections for Educational and Religious films as well as Newsreels (including titles like "Japs Surrender", "Russia Stops Hitler" and "Japs Bomb U.S.A."). Of primary interest to collectors is the section from pages 57 to 64 featuring "ALL COLORED CAST" offerings.
