The Mind Reader (EARLY TOY COMPUTING & NUMBER REVEALING GAME)
Chicago: J.B. Carroll Co. Very Good. Item #6775
Circa 1930's advertising game for Waxide Paper Co. of Kansas City, MO. The Mind Reader game was patented on April 17, 1928 by Ernest Des Enfants. Obviously capitalizing on the popularity of the "G-Men" and "Superhero" characters of the 1930's, this 3 3/8 X 4 1/2 game features a heroic looking masked man on front and futuristic blindfolded version on the rear. Spinning parts in working order. A very scarce early 20th century piece of advertising art.
Price: $75.00
