First printing of this swan song publicaton by and about famed Southern Historian Stanley Horn. This copy presented and signed by Horn to William "Bill" Boozer of the Nashville Banner newspaper. Boozer was the book columnist for the Banner for nearly a decade as well as being the editor of the Faulkner Newsletter for a quarter century. Signed and inscribed to Boozer on the FFEP. Accompanied by a laid-in TLS from the publisher to the Banner requesting copies of their review as well as a TLS from Horn himself thanking the Banner for the favorable review. Original acetate cover rubbed a bit.
A rare signed copy of this interview with historian, businessman, and editor Stanley F. Horn, State Historian of Tennessee and author of Invisible Empire: The Story of the Ku Klux Klan (1939). Horn wrote an additional eight books on the Civil War and Tennessee.
