Original red cloth with gilt dragon and title-stamping to front cover. Matching "1923" dates on the title and copyright page. Basis for the 1946 Alfred Hitchcock film "Notorious" starring Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman. Housed in the original unrestored jacket that bears the correct price of $2.00 at top of front flap. Scuffing to boards and light toning throughout. DJ a bit dusty with wear to the edges and folds. Some minor paper loss at folds and a small chip to top of rear panel. A very appealing copy in the incredibly scarce original jacket.
