One of the most important issues of Mediascene magazine by Steranko FOR THE STAR WARS COLLECTOR. Jim Steranko, the publisher and creator of Mediascene, is widely known for his work on Nick Fury by Marvel Comics. Steranko is also known for his conceptual art work done for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. His concept art for Indy was actually used for the original boardgame and action figure packaging. This issue features several pages of Star Wars products as well as the first interview with Ralph McQuarrie, the original concept artist behind Star Wars. This issue also contains early speculation on the Star Wars sequel as well as the proposed 12 films to follow... Alan Dean Foster and his "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" get a nod as well. Issue contains both sections. Star Wars cover art by Tom Cantrell.

No shipping label! A very attractive copy overall. A bit of scuffing to covers.
