Original color photograph (with May, 1967 date) tipped to same page. The photo is presumed to be Burton having a picnic lunch the day she signed the book. An incredibly scarce autobiography of Thomas Merton's literary agent and close friend. Ex "Nazareth Library" copy with a few marks, stamps, and remnant of pocket to rear endpaper. A clean copy despite the provenance.
