Signed twice by author. Also accompanied by signed note in the hand of Blankfort. Written by Michael Blankfort (1907-1982) under his Ford psuedonym. Under his own name he wroted "The Widow-Makers," "The Juggler," and "I Met a Man." His film writing credits include "The Plainsman," "The Juggler," "The Caine Mutiny," and "Tribute to a Bad Man." This copy signed by Blankfort to noted Hollywood publiciest Art Ronnie. Signed, "To Art Ronnie - / an insatiable bibliomaniac / cordially / Michael Blankfort -July '79" on the title-page. Blankfort has also added notes to the dedication page.

The dedication reads:
To Jerry and Larry
Who Never Murdered
A Man or Produced a Play -
An, I Hope, Never Will

Blankfort has written the following in ink under the dedication:
"Jerry is my brother.
Dr. Gerald Blankfort -
and Larry is my ex-brother-in-law
Lawrence Spingarn / Michael Blankfort"

Original yellow cloth boards with black title stamping. Cloth edges fraying, especially at spine. DJ a bit worn at edges and folds with several small chips. A well-loved copy with a tremendous inscription.
