Paperback original of this extremely scarce Lawrence Block title written under the Jill Emerson name. One of Block's "adult reading" novels of the period. Signed by Lawrence Block on laid-in bookplate. Half inch closed tear to rear panel. A bit of PO writing in blue pencil, apparently because Block writes in the text that "what we all need is the opportunity to go over our lives with a blue pencil the next day" (page 12). A less than perfect copy, but incredibly scarce in any condition.
