Chicago: Gallery, 1972. First Edition, First Printing. Original wraps. 8 3/8 X 11 1/8 Inches. 184 Pages. Very Good. Item #676
The second issue of the ultimately ill-fated magazine originally produced in the style of Playboy. The format of Gallery quickly changed as Hugh Hefner threatened legal action based upon this and other very early releases. Fiction by James Kahn and an interview with Dennis Hopper. A classic issue in collectible condition. Staple binding tight and clean. Slight touches of wear to the edges, but a very nice copy overall.
Interesting to note that the story 'Mobius Trip' by James Kahn was his second published work. Kahn went on to writed the film novelizations for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies.
