Chicago: Gallery, 1972. First Edition, First Printing. Original wraps. 8 3/8 X 11 1/8 Inches. 120 Pages. Very Good +. Item #675
Quite stunning copy in original stapled wraps. The first issue of the ultimately ill-fated magazine originally produced in the style of Playboy. The format of Gallery quickly changed as Hugh Hefner threatened legal action based upon this and other very early releases. Fiction by Rod Serling and nude pictorial multi-page spread of Linda Evans among others. A classic issue in highly collectible (HI GRADE) condition. Staple binding tight and clean. Slight touches of wear to the edges, but an exceptional copy overall.
