First printing of this investigation into the paranormal / time-travel claims of Charlotte Anne Moberly (1846–1937) and Eleanor Jourdain (1863–1924). The pair famously claimed to have experienced a time travel event of some sort at Versailles on the afternoon of August 10, 1901. Original blue cloth binding lightly worn at edges. DJ exhibits a bit of sunning to spine and few short closed tears to edges. A fairly scarce book on this mostly forgotten paranormal event at the turn of the century.
