An incredible behind-the-scenes, intelligent, funny and vastly important book on the work that Alan put into writing the novelizations of films such as Star Wars, Luana, The Black Hole, Clash of the Titans, The Thing, Krull, Starman, Alien, Pale Rider, The Force Awakens and many more. For a fan of 70's and 80's pop-culture and many of the films Alan wrote the novels for, I am personally thrilled he put some of his experiences and influences down on paper for posterity. While this many never be the seller that his Commonwealth novels are, it will surely be loved by fans for decades to come.
