New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1964. First American Edition, 1st Printing. Hardcover. 6 1/8 X 9 1/4 Inches. 457 PP. Very Good / Very Good. Item #563

Signed and inscribed to "Harry Johnston - a good Scout who has helped to further the spirit of the hero of this book" directly on the title-page. Stated "First American Edition" on the copyright page. Original price of $7.95 intact on front flap. A bit of wear to DJ edges with two small closed tears and one abrasion on the DJ spine. Overall, a nice copy of a great book on Baden-Powell. Powell was the founder of the scout movement and as such has influenced the lives of millions over the last century. Often overlooked, I believe him to be one of the most influential people of the 20th century.
