Colored coat of arms frontispiece intact. Fore-edge of covers discolored a bit from an old dampstain. Accompanied by an 8 page letter entirely in the hand of Reginald Haines in regards to his books and a property (Hattervolden) in Woodchester (ALS). The author was a noted British Classical scholar at Dover College and author numerous books on Christianity, the Classics and Islam.
