Signed by both CJ "Buffalo" Jones and Zane Grey directly on the ffep. The book that set the tone for the rest of Grey's career as an author of Western novels, a genre that he established. Signed, "With compliments of The Last of the Plainsmen, CJ Jones and the author, Zane Grey." Original decorated cloth depicting the sweeping scenes of the West. NO REPAIR AND/OR RESTORATION OF ANY KIND. Endpapers are a bit foxed and rubbed and have a bit of ink residue not part of the signature. Pencil name of PO on front and rear endpaper. Overall, an acceptable copy of this rather scarce classic.
