It is an account of Dr. Carr's travels around the Caribbean to study sea turtles and their migratory and behavior patterns. The book was awarded the 1957 John Burroughs Medal. Original price of $4.50 intact on front. Previously owned (with signature and stamp on FFEP) by Professor Keith Hansen of The University of Florida and Stetson University. Book mostly sharp and clean. DJ a bit worn at edges and folds. An attractive copy overall.
