Video Fever: Entertainment? Education? or Addiction?
Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982. Paperback Original (1st). Original wraps. 5 1/8 X 8 Inches. 143 PP. Very Good. Item #2804
Rare first printing of this early 80's study on the effects of Atari games like Pac-Man, Defender and Centipede! Highly technical in nature as one might imagine (LOL). Seems to boil down to the reasoning that video and computer games take away from the limited amount of time one has to go to Church and/or brush his/her teeth. While I understand the author's concern, the book itself looks like an early 80's "cash-grab" targeted at moms tired of spending too much money on 2600 games and Star Wars figures. A few creases to rear cover.
