Vassos helped define the modernist art movement via his work as designer for RCA in addition to his illustrated books. Via RCA, John was instrumental in the original designs of the earliest televisions, mid-century microphones, radios, consoles etc... His industrial art is among the widest spread and most important of the 20th century.
