The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones (COMPLETE 34 COMIC RUN)

New York: Marvel, 1983. First Edition. Original wraps. 34 Comics (1983-1986). COMIC - Very Fine. Item #135

THE COMPLETE 34 ISSUE RUN OF "The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones" by Marvel Comics. Obviously, Indy was created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Word is that the two of them came up with the character and the name (the real name of the dog that used to ride shotgun with George Lucas) on a beach in Hawaii after the release of Star Wars: A New Hope. George was on holiday as he is when one of his films comes out (at the Mauna Kea Hotel) and invited Spielberg down. With their feet in the sand, the two masters conjured up Indiana Jones! After Raiders of the Lost Ark, the demand was huge for Indy material on the open market. Stan Lee had learned his lessons from Star Wars and was quick to jump on the bandwagon. Marvel went to work on this series which went right through filming, production and release of the second film, Temple of Doom. The series introduces a whole hoard of "expanded" Indiana Jones life that is ripe for future products (hummm).

Each comic in Very Fine or like conditon. Each comic bagged and boarded. THIS IS THE COMPLETE RUN!
