New York: Times Books, 1996. Early Edition. Hardcover. 5 3/8 X 8 1/4 Inches. 175 PP. Near Fine / Near Fine. Item #1023

Second printing of the major literary push in Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign. THIS COPY SIGNED TO THE BROTHER OF HIS WHITE HOUSE CHIEF OF STAFF AND HIS OWN CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, TONY PODESTA. Signed, "To Tony Podesta, with thanks for all the years - Bill Clinton 11/96." Signed in the year of publication.

Tony Podesta is the Chairman and founder of The Podesta Group, the brother of John Podesta (White House Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton and Campaign Chairman for Hillary Clinton's run for the Presidency) and one of the more controversial figures in American politics today (this can be confirmed by a simple Google search BTW). Tony and John Podesta and their Podesta Group lobbying firm is one of the more powerful firms of it's kind in Washington. Tony was closely associated with the Obama White House and has taken some fire over his lobbying efforts on behalf of Saudi Arabia, which he seemingly mixed with his work for the Clinton's in 2016 (one of the National stories that hit just prior to the Presidential election of 2016).

A rare association copy directly connected to Bill Clinton, his campaign for the Presidency and the continuing efforts of the Clinton's and The Clinton Foundation.
